Through this Privacy Policy (or Data Protection Policy) the owner of this site, AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL., informs the Users of the website about the uses to which the personal data collected is submitted, in order for them to decide, freely and voluntarily, if they wish to provide the requested information.

AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL reserves the right to modify this Policy in order to adapt it to new legislation, jurisprudential criteria, industry practices, or interests of the entity. Any modification in it will be announced in due time, so that you have perfect knowledge of its content.

The processing activities carried out on our websites and during customer stays in our hotels, implies the processing of personal data by the group of entities linked to AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL

 

PURPOSES

Those responsible for the treatment may process your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Management of the reservation of accommodation in any of the hotels managed by AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL What it includes:

  • Respond to your reservation request from the one you have made through our website or Call Center, or through a third party.

  • Attend to your special requests and preferences associated with the reservation that you have inserted in the open field of observations of the form provided on our website.

  • Sending confirmation of the reservation guaranteed by credit card.

  • Respond to your contact requests to manage, cancel or modify your reservation through the "Contact Reservations" form or through our Call Center.

  1. Management of the stay in all our hotels to offer you our best service and the best possible attention in each one of them. To this end, the data controllers may:

  • Address your needs, special requests and preferences expressed by you during your stay at the hotel.

  • Take into account the products and services contracted and enjoyed by you to offer you products and services that may be of interest to you, based on statistical data prepared by us.

  • Analyze the data on personal preferences, interests and requests made to hotel staff, based on the information collected during their stay, to make their current and future stays and experiences in the hotels that make up AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL optimal. thanks to the provision of a personalized service.

  1. Management of the "Online Check-in": those responsible for the treatment may send an email so that the interested party can voluntarily carry out initial procedures online regarding their check-in at the hotel.

  2. Management of requests for information and contact through the channels and/or specific forms provided for it. This includes:

  • Respond to your contact requests with AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL.

  • Respond to your requests for information about the activities carried out by AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL.

  • Manage the registration and, where appropriate, cancellation of the Hotel Alicante Golf COMMUNITY Newsletter to send you updated information on the activities, products and services of Hotel Alicante Golf, as well as to receive exclusive promotions.

  • Sending commercial communications by any means (including electronic) to inform you about news, offers, events and about our products or services that may be of interest to you.

  1. AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL manages the loyalty program "Hotel Alicante Golf VIP". This includes:

  • Manage the registration and, where appropriate, cancellation in the "Hotel Alicante Golf VIP" program, as well as manage the obtaining and redemption of user points within its framework.

  • Manage the reservation made through the website of the "Hotel Alicante Golf VIP" program in one of our hotels.

  • Information and, where appropriate, registration in raffles organized or in which the data controller participates.

  • Sending communications related to your account, including, among others, points balance, card category or level, notifications and any other element that keeps the cardholder informed about the status of your account.

  1. Know the opinion of customers through satisfaction surveys.

  2. Information and, where appropriate, registration in congresses or events organized or in which the data controller participates.

  3. Manage job applications, by collecting resumes, in order to be able to contact the interested party and carry out a selection process.

  4. Send “abandoned cart” reminders: the data controller may send the interested party communications to remind them of the non-completion of a contract or reservation that they have initiated. The information included by the user on the website will be taken into account. This purpose will only be carried out if the user has expressly consented. 

 

BASIS OF LEGITIMATION

The controller is entitled to process your personal data based on:

  • The execution of a contract for the provision of services, by virtue of article 6.1.b) of the General Regulations for the Protection of Personal Data, for the formalization and execution of the reservation.

  • The explicit consent granted by you in the "Hotel Alicante Golf" Program in accordance with the provisions of article 6.1.a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as the execution of a contract for the provision of services, by virtue of article 6.1 .b) of the aforementioned Regulation.

  • The legitimate interest of AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL, as well as the rest of the companies that own the hotel establishments under its management, by virtue of article 6.1.f) of the General Regulations for the Protection of Personal Data, regarding the data related to the stay and experience at the hotel. In this case, the proportionality and relevance of said interest has been evaluated against the rights of the interested parties.

  • The explicit consent granted by you, in the cases in which it has been requested, for one or several specific purposes as stated in article 6.1.a) of the General Regulations for the Protection of Personal Data when filling in the forms and checking the box enabled for such effect. In these cases, the interested party has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the legality of the treatment based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.

  • Compliance with a legal obligation imposed on the data controller in accordance with article 6.1.c) of the General Regulations for the Protection of Personal Data, when a rule that obliges the performance of a certain personal data processing is applicable.

 

DATA SOURCE

The personal data comes from the reservation made by the interested party, from the forms filled in by him or her made available by the data controller, or from the user experience collected during their stay in the hotels managed by AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL.

In the event that the data does not come directly from the interested party, they will originate from the reservation made by the interested party through a third party (such as a travel agency or a travel reservation page).

 

CONSERVATION PERIOD 

The personal data provided will be kept for the corresponding period to comply with legal obligations or respond to possible claims during the limitation period for civil actions.

Additionally, with the purpose of improving your experience in future stays in our hotels, we will keep the data related to your visit history for a period of seven years, unless you notify us otherwise, in which case the legally established periods will be maintained and during the period that may be required by a judge or court. SECURITY MEASURES

Hotel Alicante Golf has adopted security measures aimed at protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, both with organizational and technical measures. The entity, among others, has the following measures:

  1. a) Data blocking procedures. In accordance with the provisions of article 32 of Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, the entity blocks the data to prevent its treatment.

  2. b) Security breach management procedures. The entity has technical measures aimed at detecting security incidents that may affect the data processing carried out. Once a security incident has been detected, Hotel Alicante Golf has established measures to solve the incident, and where appropriate, proceed to notify the competent authorities and/or interested parties.

  3. c) Procedures for pseudonymization and encryption of personal data. With this measure, Hotel Alicante Golf guarantees that the data of the interested party is kept in a sphere of maximum confidentiality.

  4. d) Procedures to restore the availability and access of personal data in the event of a technical or physical incident.

Hotel Alicante Golf regularly carries out an evaluation of the effectiveness of the technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of the treatment.

 

DATA RECIPIENTS

The personal data that you provide to the data controller may be communicated to the following categories of recipients:

  • The companies that own the hotels that make up Hotel Alicante Golf in order to be able to make the reservation in them based on the execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b) RGPD), and to show them personal preferences , interests and requests from the information collected during previous stays, to provide a personalized service, based on the legitimate interest of the person responsible for the treatment (art. 6.1.f) RGPD), and, where appropriate, the consent granted in accordance with the program " Hotel Alicante Golf VIP”.

The entities that act as controllers do not market, sell or carry out any similar activity with your personal data, they only process your personal data for the purposes indicated. These entities have service providers with access to personal data (Treatment Managers). Among these service providers, you can find companies located outside the European Economic Area, so international data transfers could be made, in any case, complying with the appropriate guarantees in accordance with articles 44 and following of the GDPR. To carry out international transfers with AQUILA MANAGEMENT SL providers located in the US, the standard data protection contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission are provided as a guarantee.

 

RIGHTS OF USERS

However, the interested party of the personal data may in any case exercise the rights that assist him, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, and which are:

  • Right to request access to personal data relating to the interested party,

  • Right to request its rectification or deletion,

  • Right to request the limitation of your treatment,

  • Right to oppose the treatment,

  • Right to data portability
